About Emily…

Emily Pareti is a 32 year old Jersey girl, mom of two, yogi and married to her high school sweetheart. Emily has always had a passion for movement, fitness, health and wellness. She danced competitively as a kid and trained in acro, gymnastics, tumbling, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre and ballet. Emily has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Rutgers University. While earning her undergraduate degree, she also danced on the Rutgers University Dance Team. She competed in jazz, hip hop and pom at UDA Nationals in Orlando, FL each January for four years and also competed with the co-ed cheerleading team her senior year in 2014.

Emily resided in Makaha, Hawaii from 2014-2018 and was introduced to the practice of yoga at Kahumana Farm in Waianae. She became addicted to the practice of yoga, especially during her second bout with Hodgkin’s Lymhpoma in 2017. Yoga helped Emily heal in many ways...physically, mentally and emotionally. Yoga allowed her to feel gratitude for the small things in life and just be in the present moment. Emily began taking Bikram yoga classes and learned various different forms of yoga through online courses.

“Yoga begins right where I am. Not where I was yesterday or where I long to be.”
